why it is so slow?

i am still waiting for test..

i got IP 2014.04.11.

the file is in local Scarborough now.

I took the test on June 5th and passed ..I havent received RQ ...Still waiting..

During the interview they told you have to wait 4-6 months. Any idea what is happening?

It totally depends on the local office. I have seen the oath from 3 weeks to 6 months after the test. But in most cases, it happens 2-3 months after the test.
And to be honest with you, I don't understand why it takes that long !!!! It should be done after a week or two weeks.

i did my test 10 june and the interviewer told me between 1-3 month but its been 3 months since Sept 10 and theres no news he he he

I think a short delay could be predicted due to Summer vacations of CIC staff . I have seen most of the processes by CIC have been slowed down a bit. I have a friend who wrote her test almost 4 months ago in Montreal and still waiting for the oath !

Well, I have been told ..my file needs to approve by judge so I am waiting oath ceremony after september.

From june to september 4 month so..

my damn file is still in Sydney. the agent said there is no problem in our file , you just have to wait. considering that my background check is done in Jan and there has been no activity since then, what so ever, I think the only explanation for not transferring my file after 1 year is my file is sitting on the desk of a psycho.

However, I think ATIP report just makes us more nervous...

i agree, i orderd ATIP and got it last friday, i dont undertand fully but as far as the paper info, my status is OPEN i dont what does it means hehehe

all the police report are passed. but at the end of the day I dont see the ATIP info is helpful.
