No, you do not need a job offer. And you do not have to have a work permit.

Hey, when has the CoPR been issued??
Yes, you have to complete the landing before the CoPR expires.
Read here about required documents: http://cectoolkit.weebly.com/3/post/2014/03/what-documents-do-i-need-for-the-landing.html

OMG! Received my Passport request. Will be sending out my passport tomorrow! Good luck to all those waiting. The last mile is the longest!

Is there anything I need to know about the PPR besides what is written in the email? Like any advice, word of caution, suggestions etc?

I just got the ' ready for visa' email from CIC. I live outside north america, and the email says

If you or any of your family members are residing outside North America and you are unable to send your/their passport(s) to Canada and/or to provide a return mailing address in North America, contact us at CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca so that we can make arrangements to print visas at another office.

Does it mean this will be done at the CIC office in London, England?

What is the usual arrangement for those residing abroad?

Hi,

For the record, medical examination was done May 3rd and medical examination report was submitted to CIC on May 8th. RPRF paid upfront.

You have to email them and request visa printing at another office (you pick which one) and wait for their reply :)

I got PPR last night at around 10pm eastern time!
Hope everyone who's still waiting get their positive communication from CIC as soon as possible!
