60 days, for what I know.

Time limit comes in the MR email from CIC. Have seen 30 days in one of the cases.

Thats what I'm worrying for.. I am in a South Africa and my family is in India.. I would prefer to do medical for all of us at the same place so that our results can be uploaded at the same time.. if it is 60 days then I can assume that I can have medical in India.. let me hope for the best.

I am sure your status will changed to 'Medical received" by this weekend. As It took around 15 days to reflect my status.

Sounds good :) I'll wait for a couple of days and then email CIC.

Yeah exactly the same reply for me as well. This reply should be good for the benchmark...I know a couple of guys who have done their medicals and still their eacs shows "application received" eacs is quite crazy...

Just got off the phone with a lovely lady from CIC :)
Medicals have been received, are on file and valid for 12 months. She has no idea why e-cas is not updated,
but also said that it doesn't matter as long as the results are on file.

Hi ritz0106,

Thanks for posting the email, I was also planning to do upfront Medical.
Btw, Type of application: for us it should be CEC, isn't it?

Yes, type of application is Canadian Experience Class.
However, for upfront medicals the clinic/doctor will have to choose 'Worker' as the class for the medical examination.

Hey Toby can you also upload the email format which Ritz share with us in your website. So whoever wants to inform CIC either medical, additional docs or RPRF they can use the same template or at least get an appropriate idea.

Thanks

So even in case of dependent on the file they should say "Worker" while doing upfront medical? as me and my wife would be doing medical at different location so just worrying if any thing specific has to be mentioned in case of dependents?
