Hey Tom

Quick question from old rules

I submited a letter to CEC in late july before gcms notes were generated which says I passd oral exam on 19t april and submiited thesis on
20th may..but it also says that degree is officialy confer in november convocation..

so do u think this letter will work in favour of me or against me

Name's Toby :)

Uh, not sure about that. What date did you calculate your experience from?
I remember reading that you're past the 11 months mark now, is that correct? So, you've been waiting
for quite a while now, wait another 1-2 months, you should hear back from CIC for sure.
And it's either gonna be MR/PPR or the rejection, in which case you re-apply because you have enough experience by now.

Yeah I calculate it from 29th sept which is PGWP date :P, i didnt realise convocation is that important..yeah waiting is only option

Ya, used to be important. Hang in there buds, you're almost there.
And who knows, maybe you're lucky and PPR is popping into your mailbox soon :)

Good luck man!

For July applicants it took between 40-50 days. Could not find any information about August applicants.

Just checked from the August sheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AsFmKvHOgoF5dE02ZWZ1TEtOaE5XMWIwN0trT2s3TlE#gid=0) it looks like it 40-45 days, almost same as you have inferred from July Applicants :)

My bad, was looking at the wrong spreadsheet for August applicants.
Yes, we can expect getting September cards charged between 40-50 days, end of October...
