I am screwed royally. I asked someone in a different forum thread about NOC codes 2173 and 2174. I had applied PR under CEC against 2173 NOC code. But as per my Work permit it should be 2174 though the roles and responsibilities are same for both the NOC Codes.
2173 - Software Engineer
2174 - Software Developer
Looks like my application might be rejected. Following is the link where someone replied to my query.

I had called CIC agent today and explained my situation. She told me to wait until AOR is created, until then nothing can be done is what she is saying. What should I do? Will they create my AOR now and reject the application after 1 year? Or will they return my application? Any suggestions please.

A royally screwed applicant
Hello Kunishakunishsa said:Thanks a lot Toby. Every time I get to this forum, you give me lot of moral support which boosts my confidence levels. Thanks a lot for that and keep up your positive attitude.
Like I previously said. You're all good. There's no such thing as a cap or limits to CEC applications. CIC onlykunishsa said:Thanks a lot NAVGUY.
Coming to the IELTS scores for both these NOC codes, these are listed as type A jobs and both of them need 6/6/6/6 IELTS scores. My IELTS score matches with either of the NOC codes.
Thanks a lot, CEC2283, I updated the spreadsheet accordingly.CEC2283 said:hi Toby,

Alright, thanks for letting me know. I'll take you off the september sheet.Jee786 said:Hi Admin, Sorry for late respond. I was out of Canada , so couldn't send my application on September. I Just send my application 1 hr ago. So please put me on October application.
Yah but, if you are married yet you file as single, is n't it mis-representation? If CIC finds out, that may jeapordize the whole PR process.kunishsa said:Hi Anil Kumar
I have seen my friends who are married and staying with their family in Canada, yet applied for PR under CEC as a single applicant. One of my friend has already got his medicals whose application was sent in May, 2013. I heard that the single applicant processing times are much faster compare to family class. I wish I should have applied as a single applicant too.
Anyway in your case, I would suggest you to get your PR first and then go for adding your family unless you have plans to get a working status for your wife sooner. If you add your wife as an applicant at a later point, your application also would be delayed.
