I asked to send it to my home and I sent to cic as I can track it and make sure it is received by cic.
No, CIC never acknowledged the receipt of my passport. I emailed them three times and asked, never got a response.Felix14 said:Question for toby, i remember u sumbmited renewed passport last 3 mos,

RCMP finishes the process in 3-4 days then the rest of the time is what Canada Post takes to deliver it to your home. So It can take from 4-6 days if you live near the RCMP office (I believe Ontario), or up to 15 days if you live far away from it (for us west coasters).ritz0106 said:Hello Folks, I applied Sep 2013, I got a request from CEC asking for RCMP fingerprint Certificate. That's exactly what I think and hope, however end of March is a little too optimistic I'm hoping for mid April to get thebyrwus said:it took them just two weeks to go through majority of May. It looks like it will be no more than 3 weeks to go through June.

One week more or one week less... who cares in a 12 month wait? Just forget about the whole process, time flies if you simply don't pay attention. The documents will arrive, the process will keep moving and everything will go just fine.
