you don't need your current work permit. aor and the required forms is all you need.

I have finally received an email from CIC with my AOR number.
CIC received my docs on September 4th and somehow replaced my IELTS results which was a reason why it took so long for them to issue AOR. I guess I'm just not lucky

Hi Ceclina, congrats on receiving the AOR. Good thing they found your documents, and sent you AOR. They could've just returned the whole package. Thank god they are acting very responsible, which is a very good sign.

Don't worry the spreadsheet will be updated by Toby, once he views the update.

My application for BOWP has been approved today.

Although I havent received any emails or messages in my CIC account, the applications status does say "Application approved".

How do you check WP online status?
Is there any portal for that?

Yes, but only if you've applied online.
If you did so, go to my website: http://cectoolkit.weebly.com/ go to the CIC Links website and
look for the MyCIC login link.

CIC processing times still say '19' days. So I guess that's the maximum. Some are processed
faster, others a littler slower.

BOWP approved today ;D

Awesome, thanks for the update! I also submitted IMM5710, photo, passport and coverletter including the AOR and expiry date of my current work permit. I did not include my work permit tho, as it wasn't required and can be looked up using my UCI.

Congrats on getting your BOWP approved. Let us know when you receive the actual WP in the mail.

It seems CIC isnt sending Email notifications any more.

I called up CIC again today, and the lady on the other end said they mailed it out directly and I should recieve it end of this week.

Any idea how long it takes for the hard copy to reach us once mailed?

Depending on where you live, I guess up to 7 days
