If you get the AOR by mail then it might take a couple of days. Hang in there, you'll get it.gill656 said:I still haven't receive my AOR yet, Its been 5 days my ecas says application received. But I havn't got any email or mail regarding my AOR. Is there could be something wrong? ???
you never know about CIC system. They can do any thing, in past people got PR in 7-10 months particular NOC even during the strike...so they work on their own rules...neither you nor me can say any thing for surebyrwus said:to those who believe in faster processing times because of caps.
if cic received your application on nov 9th, there is a queue of applicants of the whole year ahead of you.
nothing will change for a year.
well, a month maybe.
correction toby there were 9200 PR may be after adding spouses....but 9200 people got PR through CEC in 2012iam_toby said:There were about 6,000 CEC applications in 2012. Now we have a cap of 12,000.
That's double the amount of what was received in 2012, so for now it doesn't mean
that there's faster processing times. But we shall wait and see.
Hopefully they get faster.
She dont need to prove any thing. SHe is good to go yay ...Steve-o said:Hi there do you guys have maybe some information I couldnt find?
We have applied for CEC on Sept 25th, and received our AOR on Wed 13th Nov.
We then tried to apply for the BOWP online. As we have applied in common law, we could only proceed and pay for the application for the BOWP for the principal applicant.
Do you guys know, if my common law partner has automatically applied through the principal applicant for the Open work permit (we attached all her documents in the supporting letter) or if she has to apply separately?
We are bit on a tight schedule, and our current work permit is running out in three weeks, and she has nothing to prove she's on implied status, if she is on implied status?
Thank you very much for your help!
Thank you for your comment! We are wondering though, how she can proove she's on implied status/she can keep working, and how it is if the BOWP doesnt come through before Dec5 (when the WP runs out), is she then overstaying?gladaki said:She dont need to prove any thing. SHe is good to go yay ...
Please refer to link below my signature it has link for BOWP and when u go to that BOWP link there is information for common in law at end of the page. Good luck to both of u
She will on implied status, and she can continue to work until a decision is made on your BOWP.Steve-o said:Thank you for your comment! Has anybody been in the same situation before?
thanks
Avg is 45 days..Assuming ur on higher side of Avg, may be your application is taking more time for them . so be patient...usually every one gets in 60 days So start worrying if u dont get before Dec 1.chowli said:Hi everyone... CIO Sydney received my application on September 27, but I still have not get my AOR yet... I am worried, because I can see some early October applicants get their AOR already..
Thank you. I hope they will not return my application, since I applied under one of the 6 occupations which is no longer eligible.gladaki said:Avg is 45 days..Assuming ur on higher side of Avg, may be your application is taking more time for them . so be patient...usually every one gets in 60 days So start worrying if u dont get before Dec 1.
Only applications received on or after November 9th are affected by those rules. Please refer to https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/24404541/home.html and read the complete MI-10.chowli said:Thank you. Yes, I know the rule does not affect me.. I mean sometimes CIO Sydney return some applications due to errors on forms or miss documentation, I hope this situation will not happen on me.iam_toby said:Only applications received on or after November 9th are affected by those rules.
Thank you. I do understand "implied status" and I do understand that she's elligible for an open work permit. But it doesnt say anywhere, if she's on implied status (which is quite decisive regarding overstaying) and if she has to specifically apply for it.gladaki said:Avg is 45 days..Assuming ur on higher side of Avg, may be your application is taking more time for them . so be patient...usually every one gets in 60 days So start worrying if u dont get before Dec 1.
