It depends. If you were employed by company A but actually really worked for company B (the client), then chances are CIC will pick this up and request the letter.

If you actively worked for company A and had deal with companies BCDEFGHIKJLMNOP as part of your job, it's unlikely a client letter will be needed.

If the first scenario applies and you can get the letter, submit it.
It is the first case. But the pay stubs and other documents have the details of Company A. It is just stated in one of the letter I am gonna work for the client with name. But getting a letter from client will be difficult as the folks with whom I worked are not with the company B anymore.

You don't need it, but if you get one it wouldn't hurt to submit it. It's only gonna make it an
easier case for the VO.
Thanks Toby! But I was worried about the firsts question that still the decision depends on the mood of the VO?

So, Do I need to forward the same application back to CIC after signing on my payment form OR do I have to re-fill that for again ? I am still in dilema. Please share your experience if anyone has forwarded the same application and got successfully processed....
Hi,

I got my application back last October 15, 2013 because of missing birth certificate. I have submitted again my application this afternoon, October 22, 2013 and did the following updates:

1. I have updated my pay stubs (sent the latest 3 pay stub)
2. I have updated and have redone all of the forms. What I have done is, I followed the red marks that the VO have checked and corrected them accordingly and if need be.
3. I have submitted the same PCC even though one of them is more than 3 months old. I'll just wait for them to request for a new one if in case they will.
4. I made sure everything was complete, all forms were signed; all requested documents were complete before sealing the envelope and sending it thru Loomis Express Courier.

The lady from the courier said that CIO will receive the package on Friday afternoon before 6 pm.... GOODLUCK and Godspeed to you and to me... hope this helps..

Yes. Usually CIC makes a decision based on the information you submitted in your
application package. I'm not sure how later on submitted letters and stuff are being handled.
In theory, if they would accept those letters, one could apply with only 11 months of experience, because
it takes about 1-2 months to get AOR anyway and then submit an updated letter, right?

So I think it's up to the VO to accept it or not.

Hmmm... I agree. But let me submit the employment reference letter as my company started to provide. Citing this reason I will submit the letter. Apart from this letter I have provided all the supporting documents with my eligibility. Let's keep fingers crossed and hope for the best!

Sure thing, if you get an updated letter, submit it! It won't hurt.

Hi,

My PR file was received by them on Sept 30th. and am awaiting the further details.

I didnot submit my PCC certificate at that point of time as it was in the process. Now that i have my PCC, i was wondering if i can send it to the CIO Novascotia. is anyone else in the similar situationa?

Any suggestions?
