April applicant is still waiting for MR? Not a very good news for me who left from sept 9th!

Principal applicant will land first. Then rest of the family can land any time before the Visa expires.

The expiry date is 1 year from Medical report.

Hi, just an addition to that information, Visa will be given for 1 year in most of the cases. But, if any of the applicant or dependents passport's expiry date is less than 1 year, then Visa will be issued till that time for every applicant.
For eg: All the family members underwent their medical tests , on 4th April 2014 , and one of the dependent's passport expires in Dec 2014, then the visa issued for everyone would be valid only till Dec 2014.

One of my friends faced this situation, so make a note of this and plan accordingly.

I saw a Feb applicant still waiting for MR... for at least one year.

Application received September 23rd.... no news as of yet.... has anyone that date received anything/seen an ECAS change? :S

Thanks, Rabbi. Luckily we have plenty of time left on our passports, but I can see how someone could get tangled up in this!

My ECAS just updated a couple of minutes ago to "In Process". When you click on it it says "We started processing your application on March 31, 2014."
