you are aware some time even after sending ppr status say application received. your only way to check your eligibility is GCMS notes

Yes, but it's nerv-wrecking :o 8) I ordered GCMS notes after completing my upfront medicals, should receive
the notes by Monday next week, 6 days from now.

It should be exciting eh??

P.S.: Whenever I am in this kind of situation, I can feel butterflies in my stomach. Just can't get rid of it. :P :P

why did you wait for aor for 3 months?

Good questions.
I have no idea but I've been told by my lawyer that CIC somehow replaced my IELTS results and it took them some time to find it.

Is CIC on strike again? :o two days no MR >:(

Really can't figure why the processing speed is so inconsistent...Hopefully we'll see more MRs later today.

Ceclina,

I think your lawyer is creating his own reality.

CIC on strike?

Guys, please spit these words. (let me whisper that it is f... possible)

You are prob right.

Do you think it could be the reason for delay in getting MR?

There was a burst of MRs last Friday. The speed of sending out MRs slowed down drastically from Saturday. Wish everything is all right in Ottawa office.

your lawyer took money for filling out documents.
He has nothing else either to do or say.

CIC do not pay any particular attention to an application. Everything is provided or the envelope gets rejected. plain and simple.

I am not sure why you hired him.

I actually didn't pay the lawyer as she is a friend of mine.
Also I did have a tracking number which means I knew exactly when the package was delivered to CIC.
That being said, I only received AOR at the end of November and I am not sure what really caused the delay.
I took my lawyer word for it because i know they deal with CIC on a regular basis and have seen/experienced different situations.

Well its Weird to get your ecas to in PROCESS and get RPRF request then after 2hrs
Get MR at the same day.... Cic ripped me off $2000 rprf & mr....,,,$300
For bowp, going to saskatoon tom for MR,heres the catch im UNEMPLOYED whew!

Quite logical. Stay positive :)

On my way to the washroom, it occurred to me that the ecas status usually changes
to 'In Process' when someone receive the MR or RPRF. I paid RPRF upfront and also
did upfront medicals, so maybe it's not a bad sign that my ecas still says 'Application Received'.

Only trying to stay positive... ::) ::)

August applicants started to receive PPRs 201+ days after applications were received at the CIO.
This day, for September 3rd applicants, is today. So we shall see, maybe there's some PPRs on the way already.
