Is that 2 months part of the qualified period you claimed? Put in this way, did you have exact 12 months experience or more than 12 months at the time when your app was submitted?
Yes, those months are included in 12 months experience.

Yes, I still think that we'll see the first MRs coming in in April.
Made my appointment for upfront medicals last night, as I'm probably on vacation
in April and I don't want to worry about MR while I'm on the road.

I'll keep you posted how it goes with the upfront meds.

Ok, if so. I would suggest you to try to get a proper letter from that employer including all required items like hours which are missing and more detailed duties. Make sure the letter is an 'extension' with no changes from the letter you sent. You may also send it to cic and explain why, i.e. Missing info in your previous letter.

If your another job is more than 12 months, I would not worry about it too much, otherwise it is better to get a proper one for all the jobs you claimed. Cic might request an updated letter later, but they don't have to since you applied before Nov 8. Also bear in mind that 1311 is no longer available!

Hi everyone,

Sorry for not actively participating. Since April is coming up soon(and hopefully we get MRs then :D) can anyone provide a list or give a link to where i can do a medical exam in Vancouver. Just want to know where to go right away when the Medical Request arrives. Are some doctors faster than others?

Also, I am waiting for US police certificate for about a month and a half now. Should I call them or is it a normal wait time?

Thanks so much!!!
Check my website http://cectoolkit.weebly.com/ on the CIC LINKS page for a link
called 'Find nearest panel physician'.

Well, I have already talked to my previous employer, he's being a jerk! So he won't issue me any updated letter. So can't really do that, can I apply for federal skilled worker? Or something else?

CIC might or might not request updated letter, but the rule of thumb is always to do utmost and prepare the worst. Plus the letter missed out the hours which is required in the checklist. But no one knows how cic processes, so don't lose hope for now, it is not the end yet.

If you have permanent, full time job letter, FSW might be the plan B. If your employer is willing to sponsor you, PNP might be another option. But if I were you, I would wait and see.

Sorry just wanted to add that he mentioned about hours, but not my annual income and he didn't mention duties in detail. Like he gave brief duties, by saying bookkeeping, payroll and taxes. But he didn't completely explained it. And yes I hope it gets through. I don't want to waste 3 yrs just to get PR. I have to start my education too! Real scary shit!
