every one under fsw2 is getting medical requests , i have not got any update on my file .

My PER was issued on Jan-31-2013 after that no updates .

Kindly suggest what to do ?

They can't process everyone at the same time, they don't have enough staff. I am sure you will hear something before mid-January (delay because of Christmas).

Yeah may be I should wait another month till jan 2014 end before applying for CAIPS . Since my PER was issued on Jan 30th and the trend i see is usually the medical starts arriving in the 12th month after the per.

I believe CIC is trying to reduce backlog as much as they can. Some March/April cases have been started processing before Xmas.

Hi Jaz0020, It's never too early to apply for CAIPS. Remember that it takes a month to get that information from the time you apply. So if you plan to apply in Jan'14 end, you are likely to receive information by Feb end or early March. If you want, you can apply now and again in Jan, as itsmyid did. Its up to you.

I'm beginning to think my case officer has gone on vacation, or gone to sleep after putting it into processing on December 12th. I know I'm being impatient, but going on timelines for others, I'd have hoped to have received MR's by now, given the processing date. Not sure if he/she has gone on vacation, if it's passed onto someone else, or if I just have to wait. Oh well, more time to wait... I'm sure it'll come soon!
