I hope so too. Though it seems that it is taking CIC around 30 days to send PPR after they receive the Medical results. Its like 3 different groups of applicants. Some applicants get their PPR literally within 5 days after their medical is acknowledged by CIC. And then the second group of applicants who have got PPR around 30 days after the MR was rec'd by CIC. And in the last group this duration could take between 2-3 months - but i saw this happening more for pre-June'12 applicants.

Now throw in the current CIC strike in the equation and my above analysis blows away into dust.

And then there are applicants who got medical request and then RCMP request after 1-10 days....Are they (in general) seeing similar 30 days PPR timelines.......?

How many % of sep people got their MR by now

Dont worry Gladaki (is it good girl?)...you will get your landing done before your 30th October.

But since you asked..only handful of september applicants got MR. And then dont forget our friends form August - and the smaller group waiting in May, June and July too. But that hasn't stopped CiC to either send MR or even PPR to applicants of later months. So dont worry, just hope for the best.

I am waiting for RPRF, Bio Data and PPR request...The waiting kills..
Hope other Sep. applicant receive their MR's soon..

Hi, Sent you a PM. Pls reply.

Hi guys,

I posted a while ago to let you know of me receiving a MR and Criminal records check. I did the Medical right away and sent them off but have had to wait two months for the FBI to get my check back to me. I received it last week and sent it off to CIC.

I'm now hoping that they will have already done the checks on the NOC and work history and what not before they requested MR and criminal records. Does anyone know if I can rest easy and wait for PPR now that everything is submitted?

Hi Jenn.

(how can we not remember you..the very first ones from the Sept. group to get MR)...

Generally speaking, yes there is nothing to be concerned of at this stage. (Though, there has been 1 case on this forum and pretty recently where the person got rejection a week after MR was sent - reason: eligibility criteria not met...not sure why the VO couldn't figure that out b4 sending MR).

In your case, most probably MR would have already been acknowledged by CiC. Have you checked your ECAS - does it say medicals have been received? if yes, then you just have to wait for the Decision made status or the RPRF/Bio data request - whichever comes first. If no, still do not worry, most probably they are just lazy to update ECAS.

Also, if you haven't done so, apply for the ATIP online request to know the status of your application. Though its going to take 30 days or so to get back to you.

All the best.

On the other hand, October applicants have already started to get their passport requests.

You already got your medicals, why are you worried?

People like me are still waiting for the MR :(

I am in the same boat. MR seems so far away now.

Check out today's October thread....on a second thought...dont do that. it will make you go MAD:)

Dude, its not about sequence. We are seeing this every day on every stage. There are other factors involved, perhaps criminality/security, background checks...and yea perhaps the varying levels of laziness of the case officer too :)

As per my observation, the applications that are on fast track mode are with NOC 2174..Canada is in shortage of these resources and as per my guess, they are processing the applications on priority

Yes, i did notice in one of the other trackers too. 2174s, 73s all are being handpicked even from later months. Good for them!
