Ramthi,

Email CPP-Ottawa and tell them that you have applied for the FBI Certificate, and that according to the website it may take up to 6 weeks to process. Tell them that you will send the certificate as soon as it is received by you.

Thanks much for the inputs Spookyb

One more clarification related to FBI clearance certificate - Is finger print form (listed in FBI webiste) in Paper acceptable by FBI OR Should we only take the finger prints from standard card material
Have printed the FBI finger print sheet in normal paper from FBI website and planningto do my prints in local police station - as there is no nearby finger printing agency
Not sure if in local police station they would provide the Finger printing form in Card format

I am November applicant like to know how many from september batch already got MR..my initial calculation of avg time for mr is 7.5 month but it looks it bumped up

I think we would all have received MR by now, if not for the problems that happened recently.

Ramthi,

I've applied for FBI certificates multiple times (both for myself and my spouse), and always used a printout of the forms from the website, on regular paper. The police station should be able to take the fingerprints, or at least refer you to an authorized location that does. Remember to include all the documents in the checklist, fill out separate application forms for all your family members, include the payment for the number of requests, and you should be good to go. If you are in Canada, you should get it back in your hand between 5 - 6 weeks of the FBI receiving it. Paying by credit card is always a good way to check to see when they begin processing it, as you will see the charge on your credit card.

I mailed my application to sydney. In AOR they said Your application will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing., so I guess when I am saying sydney as my visa office I am correct.
