Hi guys,

Just received an email from the doctor confirming the submission of our medical reports to CIC through E-med. What is the next step? and how long will it take? Is there anything else that we (My wife and I) need to submit? Thanks for replying guys. Cheers!

Good to see E-meds in action,
Hopefully between 4 and 8 weeks you will get PPR, but this is not guaranteed.

Thanks Androme for the information and congrats for completing your medicals.Next step is to wait for your RPRF and PP request i guess.

Guys...

Just received my MR. I was worried that perhaps i may not receive cuz of duration of work experience and other stuffs. You know, the usual waves of confusion, frustration and nerve attacks some of us go through, every time we hear something on the forum.

For Seniors - do you know of any case that was refused, after CIC sent them MR?..
assuming no issues in medical test and no issues in security/PCC etc..could they still be working on eligibility - or they send MR only after basic CEC eligibility criteria is fulfilled?

This is excellent news, infoseeker, congrats!

I'm not a senior, but, from what I understand, receiving medicals pretty much means that eligibility has been assessed.

CIC sends MR only after the basic CEC eligibility criteria is fulfilled or is it possible that they can refuse an application due to lesser no. of days counted in Work experience?

congrats for medicals

Thanks PR2012 and Alex. Yes, I'm hopeful that many of Sep applicants will receive their MRs in May. I initially thought it would be June when we'd get our MRs, but it seems CIC has changed gears.

My timelines - in the table below :)
