If anyone has had an interview and wouldn't mind filling out this survey :) I am trying to see if what I heard is correct. What I heard is that if your status changes to in-process before you are asked for an interview, you probably won't have an interview. The more people that fill this out, the more well rounded the results will be. :)

Once I have a larger number of responses, I'll post a nice little post with the results thus far.

Good luck to all of us in this immigration process!!

Got my Confirmation letter via UPS today! :) Now just a short trip to the border to validate it and it's done! Still can't believe it!

*for the ppl applying outland who are already in Canada - you have a choice of either going to the border or setting an appointment with the imm officer in the city (my case Montreal). But as I was told that the waiting period for the appointment is like a month, I chose to go 1 hour south to the border. But if you're not in a hurry... ;)

Thank you all for your advice and support! Fingers crossed for more positive and fast replies!
I'm still gonna be here on the forum so northing's changed when it comes to the spreadsheet etc. :)

WOW that is awesome congrats!

Thanks chickee! It must be approved right? If they never asked for more details?? Or could it be more??

did they ask for your passport yet?

regarding getting the decision made on ecas today, the note :'a decision is made, the office will contact you concerning this decision' do you think that they could use a nicer preposition then concerning maybe regarding this decision. concerning is so negative, just one more thing to worry about.

Well, seems just like when they finish processing everything, positively of course. :) - If they had any issues, they would email you asking for more details, proves etc.
It IS a bit strange they haven't asked you for the (copy of) passport though, have they? Sure there are no emails from them in your mailbox? ;)

You would think they would have asked a married couple for an interview before rejecting app. For his reason I think it's good news.

We got the CPR letter today via FedEx :). Not sure where we will do the landing yet (we are in London) but we will figure it out soon!

Spain is a visa exempt country so they issue a COPR, please tell me I'm right

Poland is a visa exempt country as well but it just "enlightened" me that they didn't ask my partner's passport either, when he was doing his PR from Poland. I guess if you're actually IN the country they know you can pick up the papers yourself and ask for your passport then. or something like that. ;) Anyway - congratulations coz I'm sure too it's a good news! :)
