I think our package was about 5 pounds but that was because of the stupid skype logs. Besides that, I think I printed about 80 4x6 pictures from our 1 year relationship. We didn't have a big wedding, it was very private so we didn't have much to wow them

I love how the date is clearly on them. Same with our IM Skype IMs and Facebook stuff we posted. But it's daily life NOW I hope they see is what we're enjoying and that he's already providing.

oh boy, I was wondering where you were. Awe, at least you are doing this together while on your visitor's stay. We completed our forms over Skype little by little and it was very stressful for us. I felt like giving up so many times because I felt helpless and there were times I didnt know what to do or how to speed up this process.
I just came back from visiting him over the weekend and we had the most amazing time together even though it was just for a few days. Now back to the same old same old life :-[ waiting for this long process to continue.

I remember going through the Immigration things over Skype. How infuriating it was. And I clearly remember the feelings of wanting to give up and helplessness. I'm glad that's behind you two now. ;D

Before coming on the forums here, I was SURE I had to go Inland, but then found out that as a US citizen, I had the choice to go Outland. Halleluiah, because that meant that his paperwork was only going to take ~3 months vs 11 months! Using the CIC website is insane...clear as mud sometimes!

I hope you get many more visits in while you're paperwork's in process. I feel blessed that we're able to be together since we were married. It breaks my heart to hear the stories of those seperated. :'( Every one of you is an inspiration for me.

there is a 70 day waiting period...hopefully it doesn't get worse. hopefully they update the website today and we get better news

It seems that they'll work on July 19th applicants next week, the wait is 69 days now, hopefully those days keep coming down. Meanwhile I'm going to join a gym or I'll go crazy :-\

Woohoo, finally get to join one of these threads just sent the paper work to Mississauga about two hours ago! To get my wife and her son here from the Philippines (finally!) hopefully there are no more screw ups or delays with paper work! I double and triple checked everything twice, but the paranoia is still hanging over me like a black cloud, I will be so damned glad when this is all said and done!

The only thing now, with all the paper work completely our of my hands, and no stacks of stuff all over the place, there is this feeling of "ok, now what?" This last stretch of sitting and waiting is going to be a killer. Nothing worse than just sitting and waiting.

Update - actually it took only a few min. I copied a spreadsheet from the August people, hope you like it. If not, feel free to change it.

awesome....when did you send your application? in August or September?

We sent it in September (it only took 3 or 4 days by USPS from Pennsylvania).
