;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Do not despair September Applicants!! CIC is on to us!! They recieved my application on Sept 4, 2012. I received an AOR by email last night at 12Am. And JUST NOW, I received and email with my SPONSORSHIP APPROVAL LETTER ATTACHED!!!!!

It is a good day!!!!!

congrates to you friend, was it from Mississauga? mine went on 11th sep, should we expect something soon? u made me so happy. which vo is yours?

Yes, My approval came from the Mississauga Office. The 1st three days of September were weekend days and a holiday, so sept 4th would be the 1st day of september that they would process. I have no doubts that within a week or 2 you should be hearing something. My VO is Kingston Jamaica.

Actually your next step is to wait again. Either your VO will send you an AOR for file transfer or you will receive additional docs request or the PPR (passport request). Goodluck for Step 2.

I live with my family outside of Canada, so if it takes a long time, it's not a big deal - we can wait. But I'm rooting for especially speedy approvals for those of you who are living apart! Very happy to see AORs and approvals being reported!
