Keep an eye on your email though, if you gave them an email address, they might approve it before next week, perhaps even today. Calling sometimes gives you answers, and sometimes it doesn't. You never know what kind of an answer you get though, which is probably why they get so many calls!

My feeling is that the sponsorship department has a weekly quota. Once they have met this quota they're done for the week. That would explain the lack of news on Fridays.
It's just a thought. Oh, how I'd love to know how it works. But if I knew, I'm sure I would have had to sign something that binds me to never telling anyone...
Back to my epic search for the marriage certificate. If I don't find it today or tomorrow, I can't apply for the visitor extension (you have to apply at least 30 days before the current one expires) and that will leave us with flagpoling as the only option. I don't wanna do that!
