CIC received our applications on the same date I believe, but doghouse got the sponsorship approved 1.5 weeks before me, meaning my case was passed to Buffalo 1.5 weeks or more later.

My status is still 'Application Received'. Hope to see it change soon!

I noticed our AOR dates are almost the same. So honestly there is no oder as to which app gets processed first.

Hi, My wife sent out our application around September and they received our docs September 30, then around 1st week of December she received a letter from CIC that she was approved as sponsor then we need to send some paper to Quebec for selection, then around 2nd week January Quebec responded and gives me a certificate of selection and stating on the letter that our application has been sent out to Singapore Canadian Embassy due to my current home address, until now the status is Document Received when i check earlier today... by the way, any idea how does that spreadsheet work? and from whre it came from?

I see that u r gg to quebec. yah there is that additional for ur side termed as CSQ.
your timeline is not bad for CIC-M response.... same as mine (i appld end of aug then approved end of oct).
I've read from several posts that Quebec does not make use of the e-cas to track ur applications
so better check ur emails or mailbox everytime if you got letter/s coming from singapore vo.

as for me, my wife got dm to sponsor on oct25 and my papers sent to singapore same time but didnt get any aor from singapore until one day when i check my e-cas appeared "application rcvd" on 1st wk of dec, then after 2days it went "in process" - when clicked i see

We received application for permanent residence on Aug 26, 2011.
We started processing on Dec 8, 2011.
Medical results have been received.

so far no letters/notices received. only have my address disappearing on e-cas last jan27 until now.
i'm hoping there will be an update sooner or later.

i don't have much idea on timeline for singapore vo (based on CIC stats 1st 20% of applicants gets processed on the 1st 6mos... also singapore has one of the longest timeframe at 22mos). on this forum only a few of us are posting but based from several posts one lady got approved abt 5mos (from time applied to rcv her visa, she also lived here in singapore)... some of them living outside singapore got timelines 9mos or more. but i guess really depends on ur luck, completeness of application with all supporting docs, the visa officer who handles the case and lots more. good luck and offer more prayers that we'll be granted visas soon.

the spreadsheets were generated by the guys who started the thread. u can ask them to add in ur name that u can track and compare ur timeline with others.

Right, seems there isn't any logic in it, and well may depend on which officer picked up which case(s) and whether s/he is overloaded... Wish us all the luck!

My husband received a request for payment of landing fees this morning! I (the sponsor) was CC'd on the email.

For those wondering about eCas, up until yesterday, it remained unchanged from the 'Application Received' status showig the date it was received in Mississauga. Ecas isn't the most reliable source for information...your email is!

You're the first person (that I can see on the spreadsheet, at least) who applied through London after us, but has been approved before us. I am officially disheartened!! :'( I'm so jealous! Tell the border control people I say hi!!!
