I'm sorry, have you been reading this thread?
My last message was actually a follow-up to message #113, in which I commentend on my GCMS notes.

I haven't had any updates since AOR. And there's been no assessment whatsoever.

I initially sent my documents to Nova Scotia. Now, my file is located at the Canadian visa office in Sao Paulo.

Hello again, I'm not sure if this has been asked already. Please bare with me if already did just let me know which section I should reread . My question only is, we are already decided to fill out the application form under self employed category. Re: proof of funds as of the moment we still do not have the cash on hand but we have properties that we can sell. Does having properties would count or do we really have to have the actual cash available? Hope someone can answer my query.

Excellent thread! Very little discussion on self employed immigration so this is great.
i wanted to ask all the ladies/gents in the thread, for Police certificate what did you submit? The new rule for express entry is past 10 years.
Did you go with this or all years since 18 yrs old?
Would appreciate your response as am now collecting all documents for submission in few weeks.

Properties will only count to show your net worth if you are applying for business immigration. For actual proof of funds you have to show liquidity .. Cash in bank.

I submitted police certificates for the two countries I've lived in since the age of 18. If it's changed then go ahead with the new requirements I guess.

Thankyou leavingonajetplane. I was wondering this as that rule is for express entry and as this is not express entry i should not follow it.

My current situation is not the best in Brazil. I might be going to Europe soon.

hi guys! newbie here. quick question please... husband is the primary applicant with current noc of 1125. crs points below 400 hence not so hopefully to get an ITA through FSW. husband is also a certified triathlon coach and doing part time coaching while full time employed as noc 1125. can we try our luck for self-employed stream in this case? any feedback is highly appreciated.
