Hello friends, I'm a new comer and glad to be here. I just start my journey under the program self-employed. I'm a video artist, animator, filmmaker and photographer. I have several questions, with hopes that someone could help:
1, I check professional occupations in art and culture, I got 5221 photographers, 5222 film and video camera operators and graphic arts technician. I'm not sure which NOC will be the best, is that a big issue?
2, I'm wondering the relevant 'one-year periods participating at a world-class level in cultural activities'. I participated some world-class level in cultural activities, however, I'm not sure about 'one-year periods' coz the world-class level doesn't last for one-year long. How could I understand 'one-year period' here?

hi, I applied under Self-employed stream about 4 month ago and still haven't get the application number...does it mean that may case is rejected or what?...I didn't include IELTS in my application package cause I do not have
...yet my career is English Translation and this is what I've been doing since 10 yrs ago...I wonder if IELTS is a necessary document in this stream...I appreciate if some one can help me find my answers

Hi there, i applied under a self-employed stream in January, but still haven't received AOR. I think my application is complete, i included IELTS and many things from the checklist, but there is no acknowledgment of receipt letter or email with the application number yet. Is there anyone who applied in 2018 and received AOR?
They certainly take their time. I received AOR after 5 months. Patience is the name of this game
Hi all, has anyone applied under this stream while also having an active Express Entry profile? My points are too low to get an invite at this time, but is this allowed?
Also I'm worried that if I send in my only copy of my language test results with the self-employment application, then I won't have it if we get an ITA under EE.
