Hello Guys,
I am in the initial stages of application for PR, I am on H1b with approved i-140 and spouse on h4 EAD. We are planning to move to Vancouver next year.
I have a couple of questions. Assuming that my employer is okay to let me work remote from Canada.
1. I have seen a couple of posts stating the daily commute from CA to the USA. Would it be necessary to do that? Can't we work remote as employer agrees for that and paid in USD under H1b?
2. How about H4 EAD. Do any of you in the same situation?
3. Can we establish a company and work for us client as a freelancer? if nothing works out. My intention to get the USD as pay variation is high in Canada.
4. I see a lot of tax-related posts, But not sure what should one have to file with the above status.
Thanks,
Althaf.
