Could anyone advice out of you that, what procedures to be followed to prepare the DD in $CDN from KSA of processing fee and which banks or authorities are authorized to do the same?

Dear Nimmiboy,

i have made an application to migrate to Canada under skilled worker category in Dec 2007. the application included my family as well and i have send it straight to the Canadian High Commission in London, i have recieved an application number and instructions that they will contact me when my turn comes (the time for applications made from Saudi Arabia was 4 years)

so far i have not been asked to submit anything and i have been waiting since then ... my questions: -

is this going on the right direction ?
do i need to engage a representitve or immigration lawyer ?

i have been residing in saudi fro almost 11 years now, working as a vice president and have maintained a stable life in here so far ... i was attracted by the score i made in the point system and though this could be an easy process but from what i have been reading here i think it is not working with me ... pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease advice

There is a program was launched after Feb' 2008 from CIC under which candidates who belongs to 38 occupations will be put under fast track program and their cases will be finilized within 8 to 12 months. But you applied before changes so your case still in backlog. Now you immediately should have contact with them by email at london-im-inquiry@international.gc.ca by reference your BXXX to know the status of your application.

Pls comments other seniors as well.

i made DD through samba in june 2009. but then i heard that all the DD's made after september 2009 were sent bank by cic, NS. Then i had to prepare other DD for my new born baby which i did from SABB.
so i suggest to make through saudi british bank( SABB)

But as per my understanding you should have contact with them to know the current status of your application.
