Some questions, I seek forum members help with:

1. Appx how long does it takes on average for LVO to issue PPR after medicals (RFPR is already paid and updated info chart sent)
2. How much time do one has after PPR is received to submit passports for VISA? (One month as usual?)
3. If month for passport submission after PPR, Can this be extended if required due to journey out of country?
4. If I am in Qatar, and family is in Saudi Arabia, can I submit PP separately in Qatar and family in Saudi Arabia?
5. How long does it takes for embassy in Riyadh to issue Visa?

I have done medicals in Warood Medical center Riyadh today and would like to share following info for any potential candidates from Riyadh:

1. Adult principal applicant cost is 600 + 350 (350 is for e-visa processing, uploading results electronically etc)
2. Spouse medical costs are 600, and any kids below 5 years old age are 200 SAR each.
3. No appointment required, go straight to First floor reception with your forms and passport copies, then to room # 22 for Dr.SAMEH IBRAHIM.
4. X-ray, blood and Urine samples only for adults, not for kids.

Cheers

Dear Fairmont81,

Good to know that you finish your medicals.
Wish you all the best for rest of process.

It usually takes 2-3 months after medicals...depending on the visa officer.
Yeah... its one month .... no idea about extension
Embassy takes 2-3 working days.

good luck

Hi all,

I'm from Pakistan residing in KSA. I submitted my file from here and my visa office is London.
I wanted to ask where we will need to send my passport once we receive PPR from visa officer?

Thanks a lot

If you get PPR, you will need to submit it to Canadian embassy in Riyadh via VFS (outsourced agency).

Dear Darklord, Thanks a lot for your quick response :)

Right now I'm checking the vfs global site of saudi arabia (http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/Saudiarabia/)
There they are stating four types of Visa:
* TEMPORARY RESIDENT VISA
* STUDY PERMITS
* WORK PERMITS
* PERMANENT RESIDENT TRAVEL DOCUMENT

None of them seem to apply to me. I guess I will be instructed how to apply and vfs will definitely know the procedure.

Yes, do not worry, VFS is where you submit the passport for PR visa as well. You will definitely get instructions on the procedure.

Dear All,

I am done with medical and waiting for PPR from LVO. I am alone working in KSA and my wife and child r in India and never traveled to KSA. While coming to KSA in jan 2016, i brought passports of family members to submit for visa after i get PPR.

so, does all family members need to be present in vfs while submitting passport? or only principal applicant enough ?

does VFS take any finger prints? during submission of passports?

Hi Folks,

Iam an Indian basically working in Riyadh. I have a couple of questions related to Canada Immigration visa, if any of you can address to it.

1. Iam Bachelor of Commerce 3 year degree holder and working currently in Riyadh since 4 years as general accountant ( NOC 1111 ). I heard this profession requires licensing to practice in Canada ?? and candidates with this profession are rarely granted PR visa. Please advise if this is true ? Iam also taking care of book keeping and various other accounting responsibilities. According to your knowledge, which profession or NOC I should choose in order to maximize the chances of obtaining the Immigration visa.

2. Can I get Provincial nomination on this profession ? what is the procedure to apply for Provincial nomination for Ontario ?

Thanks in advance...
