Dear Don,
Your PR Visa is valid till the validity of your medical expires (i.e. 1 year from the date of issue of your medical reports by the designated physician) OR the expiry date of your passport. Whichever occurs earlier.
I hope this helps.

Thank you for the information. God bless

Anytime dear :)

What is your visa office? ND or Riyadh?

Lol . . keeping in mind the trend of obesity in KSA, this is the need of hour :P

By the way I would like to advise all the sep / oct applicants to acquire the police certificate form from the Pakistan Embassy (they will visit tamimi compound on 5th & 6th of June i.e. This weekend).
Because the general trend tells us that LVO gives just 30 days to complete all the formalities for police certificate and medicals. Within 30 days of their e-mail they should get all the required documents.
So it is better to acquire police certificate requisition form from the embassy as the next visit will be after two weeks.
And police will not issue the certificate without any request letter from LVO, Canadian Embassy or Pakistani Embassy.
I believe June is our month :)

Dear Siraj Bhai,
I would advise you to share this matter with NDVO. Obviously regardless of country, they all are the parts of a single system in the end. Since the delay is because one of their own embassies, they sure will consider your case and give you some extension.
May be you should call them followed by a formal e-mail.

True... I have recorded in car ...It was 55C ...pheeww
Just imagine 50C to -50C in Canada

:o

At least we can claim "We have seen all the extremes" :P

By the way which city are you planning to settle in?

I have planned for Calgary and it really has harsh weather. But snowfalls generally occur for a time span of 2 months at most.

Vancouver have perfect weather but job market is not that good. Plus Expat communities are not so much common in British Columbia as in Alberta and Ontario.

Best of luck to you too n everyone in the forum...

Yeah That is because very few applicants we have from Saudi Arabia.
There is a whatsapp group "Alberta settlers" which I am a part of. Everyday there is a good news and too much msgs. Ultimately I had to mute it down for sometime :P
