There are no such formalities. Just prepare list of goods to accompany and goods to follow (if any). Book your flights and go to airport LoL. I'll let you know what I'm doing soon. Inshallah planning to do a short landing by end of March

For the settlement fund, you need to take that with you while landing, either in cash, DD, travelers cheque, or transfer to your canadian account (if u can open one before landing). So you can't show the settlement fund in Saudi account.

From your timeline, i suppose that it tool almost 7 months for the complete process, that's very fast.

Is that because of the NOC your applied for or some things else. cuz most of the times it took around 3 to 4 years for the whole procedure

I didn't send my PCC with the file...now I am expecting my MR soon I wanted to get PCC and I know the procedure just that since u need request letter,I mailed to Riyadh embassy for it but thy said u will not be entertained if or visa office is London and obviously this region vo is London so what should I do ,I wanted to keep my ppc ready before MR arrives....I heard I can use request letter of our own embassy too.,in my case that is pak...would that work plz guide

Yes you need to go to Pakistan embassy in Riyadh or Consulate in Jeddah, request of letter, which will be signed and stamped by consular attache.

You need to take passport copy, NIC copy, pictures with you and also your family members (adjust)

This letter, u need to attest from MOFA and than visit the police station, with picture, iqama copy, passport copy

If u take my advice, wait for the request from LVO, as Saudi PCC does not take more than 10 days in total

you need to pay i guess, 18 Riyals at Pakistan embassy, and MOFA charges are 25 or 30 riyals, thats it

No appointment required at Pak embassy or at police office, just walk in early morning to avoid a que

just translate them from some authorized translation centers and after that no need for re-attestations. (It's my View what i did)
