Assalam o alaikum,

Hello guys,

This is my very first post here on this forum... I am having a Pakistani Passport with Internal Audit profession iqama (sponsorship). I would love to know the procedures involved in applying for immigration for Ontario, Canada.

I am an ACCA qualified member and living with my family here in jeddah.

go through this page http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp#eg77 it has enough information regarding immigration application.

Hi,

According to CIC, 4-5 years of work experience = 13 points. What I understand that you must have minimum 1 year at least full time work experience in past last 10 years for the qualify in one of those NOCs demanded by CIC . So, I have more than 5+ years experience overall, but 2 years as an Accountant - NOC 1111. So will I get 11 points or 13 points. Please advise.

Thanks

It is a very easy process. Went to SABB took a number for Teller, then I told him I want to issue a demand draft. He gave a form to fill, in which I put the name of beneficiary as "reciever general for Canada" didn't add any other info for the beneficiary. Then of course you put your details and the amount you want to pay. Gave it back to the teller. He printed out a check (a normal check like the ones we usually use, but the details are printed on it - not typed) then he have this check to me. This is the one I'm going to enclose with my application. Just go to the teller and it seems they know what they're doing

Good luck

Actually while getting the DD, I asked the teller and he said that all their DDs are valid for 1 year

It will be considered a stale check when it is outstanding for a period of six months or more. A bank is not obligated to pay a stale check.

This is a general rule which the VO is aware.

5 - Copy of my father's death certificate. (translated into English and notarized)
