Thank you for your reply. Hasni, you are right, I was not following it up with UK, assuming that they will send me the process by themself, plus in their every mail it was mention to keep the communication as must less as possible.

Anyway I will try to send them the documents as soon as possible. I have another query, my wife and kids visited USA last year and they were there for 6 months, do I have to get the PCC from USA or is it not required on visit visa, I am hesitating going for this PCC process for USA because it may take upto another 16 to 18 weeks as mention on their website. I do not know if they will even give it to me since my family was on visit visa.

I have to start the PCC process here in saudi and after couple of days its Ramdan starting and in Ramdan here everything is on snails speed, specially government offices, anyway let us see.

Can you please give me some idea how to pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee?

By the way they sent me a separate mails for medical for me and my family today. Have to rush on them also.

As far as I know, you don't need PCC if you have stayed in a country as a visitor. I believe your family stayed less than 6 months in USA (at least one day less than 6 months) if they were on B1/B2 US visa. If this is the case then you don't need PCC from US FBI.

Also, note that RPRF can be paid online from CIC page if you have credit card. But after you get the request from LVO. You will have to send the printed receipts to LVO after payment.

hello there.

i deeply seek for guidance on how to apply in canada, just want to start a new career and lifestyle (likely to stay in canada as permanent). with my husband ( no kids yet).

im currently working in dammam for almost 6 years. im a RN but not working in a hospital or dispensary. im working in a dermatology clinic.

can you guys, help me out, figure how and what to do??? do i have to hunt jobs first in bank job? do i have to take ielts first? i want to go to canada after my contract here in KSA, still have 16 months here coz i have to wait for my husband to finish his contract.

-If the period is 6 months exactly upwards, i think you need to obtain police clearence regardless if they were on perminenat residence or visit visa, you may want to double check with cic.gc.ca
-the PCC process is very easy from saudi arabia, i obtained it my self 2 weeks ago it took me 4 days only!
-on RPRF, i did it through SABB Bank, i guess all the banks in saudi can do it for you, the draft should be sent to "general reciever of canada" if i'm not mistaken, you may want to check as well cic.gc.ca for more accuracy.

please can u help me getting PCC from saudia ..... or let me know the procedure....i lived there for 8 months in damam but now am in pakistan....do i need to visit dammam to get PCC for me n my family or is there any other way...

Hi All,

I'll share my experience in getting PCC from Saudi Arabia:

For applicants outside KSA: you need to contact saudi embassy in you country, here is below the link for more info and how you can get it:

For applicants living in KSA:
1-send an email to the canadian embassy in your area (riyadh, jeddah, dammam,..) to obtain the police clearence letter, here is below the link for contact emails:

2- once you get this letter in (2-3 days), take it along with your passport and iqama to ministry of foriegn affairs (need to be attested)
3-once you have that letter attested, go to police station in your area, they will hand over a form to you fill it, have your fingerprints done and thats it.
4-you will be given a reciept with date of collection written on it, usually it takes 3 to 4 working days.
5-once you have the police clearence, translate those documents to english / french via a sworn translator.

Getting a Saudi PCC after leaving KSA is a very difficult thing and CIC knows this. If you were in Saudi before and then left on FINAL EXIT visa, you can request your visa office to waive the Saudi PCC requirement explaining that as a former resident presently outside KSA, you are unable to get a fresh Saudi PCC. You will have to provide them a copy (with translation) of the FINAL EXIT stamp on your passport. Normally the visa offices are sympathetic and give a waiver.

If you don't want to request a waiver from visa office then you will need a KSA based friend to do the running around. The process is as follows:

1. Obtain your finger prints from a biometric centre or local police station in your country who does the fingerprints
2. Get the finger print document attested by Saudi embassy in your country and send all your supporting documents (iqama,passport copy etc) to a KSA-based friend
3. In the mean time also request a "PCC request letter " from your embassy in KSA. If your embassy does not support, you can try it with Canadian embassy in KSA.
4. Get that letter attested by MOFA KSA through your friend
5. Let your friend submit all documents to Saudi crime branch on your behalf
6. They would give your PCC to your friend
