I used SABB Platinum credit card. Nothing special is required at all. You will just wait for the SMS as soon as CIC charges your CC.

Man, Thanks a lot. That's really a relief as this is the easiest way of payment. I also have a Platinum Visa from SABB, so I will use it for payment.

If in case the application is filed in October and assuming it takes three months to reach Central Intake office, will the application will fall under current FSWP and accepted or by this time express entry system will be considered. Please any credible reply to this.

First of all, it won't take three months to reach CIO, only couple of days or a week for the courier to arrive at their office. CIO considers the day the application was received, and not the date on which they start their review.

To answer your question, if you send the application in October by courier, it will be considered under the current FSW system

As per cic website its 75, however as some of our friends in the forum said that these figures are as of May 16th, will this category hold up till october. Please shed some more light on the matter.

Well, its true that this cap update is till 16th may, and no one can give any precise info about till when this NOC will remain open. but seeing the trend i think.. it will be safe to apply in next one month or so, but its just a guess .... only time will tell ..

Need Advice plz
first congrats to all who got their visas and hope the others will get it soon
As u can see my application is from May 2010 and and was subject a lot of delays from poor response of LVO and then strike then transfer to Paris VO then Back to London Office, and every year at time of schools being father of 3 kids in higher grades i hope to get the ppr before school starts since international schools in Jeddah -KSA cost a fortune and nonrefundable,and i find my self obliged to pay not to make my children lose their year,however this year I am totally over whelmed since LVO replied to me 3 months ago that my file is being reviewed by an officer and will hear from them shortly.also they have extended all our medicals till May 2015 and no short landing will be necessary.
I am pretty sure that they will send the PPR soon since I did not see anyone who did 3 times medicals or extended his medical twice so it is definitly before May 2015 and since they said no need for short landing means that they will give me enough time to land before extention of medicals expire.
I know Canada will accept my kids any time we land that is why I am afraid to pay the school fees for this year( the first installment is almost 20000 CAD non refundable) and then get the ppr after .
plz consider the fact that I need to travel even mid winter due to other issues ,work Contract,Residency validity and so on .
Furthermore 2 days ago I sent an email to the Minister of immigration explaining that my application is from 2010 in a Noc that is still in priority list ie Registered Nurse/Nursing Supervisor and funds available ,medicals extended and background check over awaiting final review for your kind attention.
Your feedbacks dear forum members is much appreciated and I will post this in other threads too since every opinion is giving us hope to wait.

here is my personal opinion:

If i was in your shoes, and based on your case discussions with LVO, i wouldn't enroll my kids at school at least for the 1st term, Its very important to try not to miss any terms studies from your kids academic year, i'm a father too and totally understand it, but if you are talking about 20,000 CAD which is a big amount relatively that could help you settle the first 5 months in canada ! not to mention also the fact that at any given time, your kids can join schools in canada.

Dear Guys,

I am new here. I am planning to apply under skilled worker category but there are some confusion I have in my mind which I want to share with you so please help me on this.

1- According to CIC, anyone who wishes to apply under FSW category must have worked during the past 10 years in one of NOC listed at CIC website. In my case currently I'm working in KSA as HR Specialist but I have worked 2 years as an Accountant in Pakistan 6 years ago, so in this case am I eligible to apply under NOC 1111 (Accountant)

2- During my MBA from 2006 to 2008 in the evening, I was also working as an Accountant. In this situation if I claim points of my MBA and 2 years work experience as an Accountant would be counted.

3- I have already got attested my degrees from HEC 3 years ago due to submitting to Saudi Consulate, do I need to submit again to HEC in order to get evaluated by the ICAS?

Above questions were in my mind initially, may be I may ask more in future while preparing the application. Thanks you guys to provide a good platform for the newcomers. waiting for your valuable comments.

2-If you were able to prove your work experience as fulltime through work certificates, salary payslips,etc.. then you should be in good shape.

i don't know if any one can throw some light on driving license letter from KSA, I used to have a UAE driving license valid through 2016, when i first moved to KSA october 2012 i switched it with saudi license. Now if i want to take the driving experience letter from morror, will they count my UAE driving experience too (from 2006 to Oct 2012) or just the KSA driving experience??

another scenario is that if i got the letter from UAE, can i still benefit from it in canada having into consideration that i only have copy of the UAE driving license, the original one have been exchanged with saudi one??

any advise?

Guys please help me to take my decision, i could by maximum apply by 5th october under NOC 2131 ( Civil Engineer). Is it worth trying, will i be able to find a place within the cap, i dont want to take all this pain if i am unassure of making within the cap. I guess there are many experts on this forum who can advice me on this matter. Any kind of help in this matter will do me a lot of good. I am a bit stressed and cant take a final decision. Hopefully by help of you guys i could make a decision asap.

about driving liscence ,I am in Jeddah and I went to morror to get a letter all they give me is a printout that I have no violations and its in arabic with the Iqama number only no name even ,so I do not Know really how to prove my driving experience for the last 14 years in jeddah

Bro, you can use any credit card issued by Saudi banks.

One very important advice. PLEASE KEEP THAT CREDIT CARD IN A SECURED PLACE at home or somewhere till you get charged. I know many members in this forum got their credit card stolen or lost and they had to block it. CIC charging failed and unfortunately their application got returned. Never do this mistake.

Carry another credit card for your daily use.
