I made Demand Draft with SABB bank they gave me 3.6 exchage rate while orignal rate 3.45 do any one experience this whit SABB bank I already had an account with SABB bank.

Yes ! you need good know how in SABB Bank for good rates.

You can open canadian dollar account in SABB Bank and whenever rate is good transfer fund in your canadian dollar account. In future you can use your Canadian Dollar account for bank draft.

Hello Guys !!


I need a some information.. i have applied for Canadian Immigration.. and my application reached on 28th May.

I have provided the credit card information of NCB (AL AHLI BANK Saudi Arabia) ..

when I try to make a purchase online, it always asks a MASTERCARD SECURE CODE, and once i enter that code, the purchase is successful.

My Question is, I have not provided this code to CANADA IMMIGRATION, will a transaction be successful without this? May be their procedure and system is different then an online purchase or transaction?

There will be no issue in proceeding with the payment by CIC.

I have some other questions like:I was in Austria for around 11 months.Do I need PCC from Austria? And what the procedure to get PCC as right now I am in Saudi Arabia.

Did I need to maintain the balance in my Canadian Account till my application gets processed?

- PPR 1 on 07-July-2014. Requested information submitted on: 05-Aug-2014.
- PPR 2 received on 15-Aug-2014.
- Passports sent to VFS in Riyadh on 17-Aug-2014.
- ECAS on 18-Aug-2014: "4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

Still waiting for our passports...

I Have replied you. Read that hope you may find it helpful and (easy). However, just to save time, you may still send your application without obtaining PCC as I know it takes couple of weeks to obtain PCC and it may further delay you from submitting your application.

There is no deadline as such. But it depends when the cap is reached. It would be good idea to submit your application as soon as you can.
