You can apply either way.The thing is there are certain criterias
which you should meet to eligible for Express Entry. Eligibility
criteria is easier in OID compared to EE.

EE is faster than OID pool.Faster processing time in Provincial
Phase as well as while submitting documents to cic.

Thanks for the replies!

I have another question. The SINP OID application is actually for my mom. I'm helping her fill out the forms.
In the generic application form, there is a question there of last entry to canada.

SHe is on tourist visa and she was in canada in 2015. We can't enter the dates in the form (the form doesn't allow us). what are we supposed to do?

you might have chosen answer NO to the previous question (Have you ever visited canada before??for an example)
make sure you choose Yes to that question and it allows you to enter the date.

I agree you.They however,keep updating their time for
nomination process quarterly.In most of the times,EE was faster than
OID.This time however,given focus to OID.
