9 months wait after DM is not fair.

Well It’s 5 months to be precise but I am not alone. Regina lacks ceremonies since it’s not the main office. 1 Week of November to last week of March of next year is how long it took for the next round of ceremonies in Regina. I am hopeful to be scheduled this time atleast.

For sure you will get oath in March. 5 ceremonies on its way.

According to the IRCC website, the process time for citizenship application is 12 months. my spouse recently applied for citizenship and not sure how long it is gonna take. my personal experience is that saskatchewan office is bit slow. now it may have changed. i don't know now. i applied in 2013 and got citizenship in 2015 (to be exact 22 months). but back then process time used to be 24 months.

There is a spreadsheet maintained by people on this site that keeps track of processing times for people on this forum. That may give you a bit of a suggestion as to how long it takes. There seem to be, as people mention earlier in this thread, some ceremonies coming up -- so some extra data points may be forthcoming. To what extent the aftermath of Bill C6 is going to slow things up or down is unclear at this point.

One would think that Saskatchewan should be the fastest Processing office due to the population, but i guess not. Some November Applicant from Ontario already did their test and have been invited for Oat. Makes me wonder how this whole process is handled. Still can never understand. I guess we just have to wait.

Due tonl less populated in Saskatoon it is true the processing is quicker

But the problem is all SK files comes to Saskatoon that’s why it becomes delay

But if your application is straightforward example: less trip and no issue to get AOR also no FP or quality check

Then it will be easy to get DM
