Off hand Rescue Me, Psych, Dexter and Justified come to mind, though I am sure there are more.

I just drove my parents to the Buffalo airport last week and stopped for a bottle at a store on Niagara Falls Blvd. Of course I declared it at the border and took the receipt into customs. The officer wanted to know what sweet tea vodka was. I explained and he said "that sounds great." I told him you can't get it in Canada and it was worth it even if I had to pay duty to bring it home! I believe I'll be sipping some tonight while we watch the premiere of Mad Men. Cheers

I used to love watching tv on hulu.com, but you can't view their content from outside the US. BUT, You are going to be so happy to learn that you don't have to miss any of those shows you like. Just go to www.casttv.com and click on the tv/movie tab. I checked and all four of the shows you mentioned are there. Cool, eh? 8)

The recipe/ratio on the back of the bottle would be the end of me! But thank you Allison, this is a nice treat.

I knew Mountain Dew didn't have caffeine in Canada (except the "energy" version). Will definately look up that change.

It seems that even though they are allowed to add caffeine to Mountain Dew now, they still don't. My American partner bought some again last week and he was drinking it before I noticed that it clearly says, "caffeine free" on the can.

I think that might be because there is a Mountain Dew "energy" drink in Canada that specifically has caffeine. Maybe if they put caffeine in both they would take away sales from the other product.

My husband is thrilled that Netflix (online service) is coming to Canada this fall! That was one thing he said he was going to miss.

Asked my hubby ....

Cheaper gas
Wide selection of fast food restaurants
Mosquito free land lol (we are in Saskatchewan now)
Snow free weather(he's from California)
Thats all he could think of right now.

for me in no order of impartance.

Mum
Dad
Brother
Sister
Nephews and Neices they were Newborns when i left, and a couple of additions to the fmaily since ive been gone
Real Fish And Chips (there's some admirable attempts, but theyre not quite right)
Good beer not costing an arm and a leg because it isnt "imported" (seriously guys the domestic beer is shameful)
Scenery (manitoba flat flat and flat in fact we went to Dauphin and my wife was in awe of the hills ;D)
The nice roads in the UK, its always fun running the dodge the pothole gauntlet here.

Other than that i dont miss anything i rarely even think about back home these days, i'm going back to see my family next year but if it wasnt for my family i doubt id go back. Canada's been my home for 9 years now. And ive never been happier

I'm gonna miss my family, Target, Victoria's Secret, basically ALL the cheap shopping with no sales tax in Oregon, Khol's, cheap liquour, Mexican food definitely, Taco bell just isn't the same in BC. Night snowboarding at SkiBowl and Mt. Hood Meadows. What else? The list goes on. There is a lot that I'll miss, but there is so much more appealing factors in BC that I am looking forward too, like the scenery (even though Oregon is very beautiful too), the people, poutine (YUM!), I won't miss having to wait on somebody to pump my gas, backpacking, hiking, Vancouver, WHISTLER, and pretty much anything and everything new is going to be so awesome. I can't wait to be a part of the new atmosphere. And finally be with my hubby and best friends!!

Oh and Red Lobster!

My hubby is so excited about this and demanded we not get the TMN package with our cable package when we move because we will be getting his precious netflix, lol.

I was happy to see the Netflix coming too. I had it for years in the states and it's awesome!

There's a Red Lobster in Toronto..

Kerianne: Where in BC are you planning to be? The night skiing here at Panorama (and heli-skiing if you are up for it) is incredible..I am in Invermere. You should come and try it out :)

I grew up in Canada and even I was going to be very, very sad to leave my netflix account behind when we moved back....now at least we'll have streaming!! I about did a backflip when I read they were starting the streaming service in Canada.
