S/O - What will you miss about where you are originally from?

Myself and alot of Canadians wish we had Target. ;D I call it my favourite store -- lol

Isn't Zellers basically Target? I walked into Zellers and thought I was at Target lol Everything was even in the same place lol

I'm going to miss Jimmy John's, Sam's Club (although Costco will do), faster speed limits, pronto pups, the drive in theater in Muskegon, all night Meijer stores and cheaper cell phone and tv.

I am SUPER excited about Poutine Fries.

I just went to their website to check them out, it's been 13 years since I was at one - so I suspected they may have changed a bit. And they did actually. They don't have a lot of homegoods in their flyer, but it looks like it might be more like a Shopko perhaps..

My boss was talking about this last week. Apparently (and I haven't been able to confirm this online yet) that the company that bought HBC (which Zellers is run by in Canada) also owns Target so they carry a lot of the same products. Either that or they just started using the same distributor.

That'd be really nice if it were that.

I remember now that my husband almost mentioned 'The Bay' and that looks a little more like what I'd be used to say at a Kohl's. Or Home Outfitters, both owned by HBC also ( I had to go looking after I Read your post ) I couldn't find anything either but between Zellers, The Bay and Home Outfitters I'm sure I"ll be a happy camper.

I can't wait to leave this area we are in now! In August we get a new apartment in a nicer area! Yay

That was the Zellers I went into - it was very dirty and hardly stocked.

Husband is from Grand Rapids, I am from Edmonton originally. Cant wait to get home! Which way will you be heading?

I'm in Windsor, I've lived here since 2007. We've been awful about getting around to everything but it's in process now so I guess that's something.

im missing eastern european food and products. i miss yummy milk, sour cream, cheese etc here it tastes very different. im missing cooler weather, cause here in mississauga its horribly hot and humid this summer. i guess thats main things.
