Well keep your pr card activate for traveling,
you stuck for 4 years, sad but true.
hope you get through soon.

good luck.

@ellis4706 , it is ok , don't lose hope, pretest RQ is much faster than regular RQ , I have two cases which delayed just 4 and 5 months more.

Good luck

Hi

My Timeline is very similar to you guys

Application sent: December 02, 2011
Acknowledgement Letter received: January 18, 2012
RQ received October 12, 2012
E CAS status changed to In Process on October 12, 2012

I have replied to the RQ with documents to CIC St Clair on October 19, 2012
Sent CBSA report to CIC (St Clair) on December 17, 2012

Sent an OHIP report to CIC on Jan 04, 2013

The CIC did not ask me for CBSA report (There was a checkbox on the RQ form to authorize CIC to get this info) or OHIP. I provided this additional info, hoping this would speedup the process.

Waiting...

It's a little surprising to see someone got RQ almost three months after CIC started processing applications. Do you know when your file was transferred to local office? Was the RQ from Sydney or your local office? Had your app been in Sydney for the three months after going into In Process?

I received RQ from sydney, NS, but asked to submit it to my local office in Mississauga.

Thanks for your response. Then your file had been in Sydney for the three months after changing to In Process. I start thinking if a file is transferred to local office without getting RQ at the time of transfer, there's a low chance of getting RQ after that. After two or three months in local office, it's likely to get a test date if everything goes smoothly. These days most RQs are from Sydney.

What I really want to find out is if anyone here got RQ after your file was transferred to local office, that is, got RQ from local office. I haven't seen anyone getting pre-test RQ from local office these days.

Hi Everyone ! So I got this stupid RQ on Feb 1st which has all different kind of questions. Half of them I don't even remember.Any suggestions What I should do?

Applied July 2012

No, check the envelope. The letter always says, Send your RQ to local office (Scarborough in your case).

Oh ok Thank you ..
