Dear friend,
I honestly don't think your RQ has anything to do with rescheduling your oath day. I was in a similar situation last year. After the test I called CIC just to check my status and I was told " you have passed the test and you will be receiving your oath letter soon ". Two months passed and they said the same thing again and after 105 days from the test date I received RQ. It has been 12 months since I submitted my documents and have received NO news.
CIC agents are not decision makers and they really don't know where one's file will end up and I sincerely believe what they say on the phone is not really accurate that is why every time I called I was told a different RQ processing time.
