I'll be travelling to Albania for the first time in just a few weeks! My husband is Albanian but was living in Italy when I met him.

Did anyone get an AOR from the Rome VO?

I'm also wondering if on ECAS it says medicals received for everyone?

As i know noone got AOR from Rome VO the last 8 months. I got my SA 3,5 months ago and till now no medicals received yet. How about you?

Ok, good to know no one else is getting AOR from the Rome office. I don't mind that they don't send them, I just don't want to be the only one without one.

It doesn't say medicals received yet either but I might just be confused how ECAS sponsor vs. applicant works. As the sponsor I can sign in, but I'm not sure how to sign in as the applicant who is being sponsored. I'm also not sure if it makes a difference, if everything will show for both people, or if only updates will be given now to the person being sponsored.

In the email you recieved they sent you 2 numbers.UCI and Application No. UCI is for the sponsor and the other is for the sponsored person. We haven't had any movement on our ECAS since we got the SA so I don't know if the update will show for both. Maybe someone who got the medicals recieved can help us.

I check with the UCI so I see my status and my husband's status.

For the sponsor they are very late because it still says In process even though a decision has been made. For the Applicant, I see Application Received but nothing specific to the VO, just the date it was received in Mississauga and then I see "Medical Results have been received".

That's it. I don't really expect an update until they communicate with me directly.

I'm still trying to get some more relationship proofs to send to Rome in case they lost some of my stuff. And now my husband will do a PC in Albania because he has been living there for 4 months and I don't want them to ask for it later when it is too late.

There's a girl who's husband is greek and she applied in August 2013 and hasn't heard anything yet except medicals received... Hopefully she hears back soon and then our December folks get moving.

I am just so tired of being so far away from my husband. But I will be going to see him in 10 days. I can't wait.

Can you update the spreadsheet? I received SA on March 10, 2014 and Medical Results were received on March 14, 2014.

I've been quietly following any Rome VO news on this forum for a while now but I feel like I should contribute a little ray of hope. I know I've felt frustrated at times with the lack of info from others dealing with this particular VO

We sent our application to Miss. on Sept. 24 (2013) and it was received the next day. I got my SA on Oct. 8th and we didn't get any notice of receipt from Rome until today....when they requested his passport and notified him that he is moving into the final approval stage! I'll post an update about how long they have his passport when we get it back. Keep your chins up!

Thanks Yaelloni for the update! I would love to know how long they take with his passport. Do they need everyone's passport? And did they say how long you have to submit your passport? Your application was with the Rome VO for about 6 months (which I think is a great time! Wooohooo!), and about 7 months after Rome will have our application we already have a 2 week trip booked...
