welcome deedee! i'll try to answer your questions as best as i candeedee33 said:I have some questions for you, if possible:
1. if not enough space for an answer, you completed the lines in the form and THEN attached another page to finish the answer, or you simply wrote on the form "see attached" and worte the entire answer on the attached page?
i find the second option more logical, but no idea what's actually better.
2. in that form where you have to write the story of the relationship, I feel question 6 and 9 are tricky. I describe the first meeting in person at question 6, but then at 9 I have to write how the relationship developed from the first contact, therefore I am supposed here to include/repeat what I already wrote on question 6?!
I simply want to write the full essay at question 9 and that's it, but I see people created a separate sheet with their relationship summary... also I don't get why my husband (sponsor) should write his own essay, and if so, attached to what form he should include it? Or this is simply something people are doing to have more proofs?
3. is there any need of fingerprints for romanians? i think i'm overreading the guide and start to freak out
4. I have already done my medicals, no idea where they will send the results since I didn't actually send the application to Canada. they will match them at a later date? any idea?
5. I have diacritics in my name that appear also in my passport, but on the form that must be validated online and get those barcodes there is no possible way I could include diacritics/special charactes in my name. Yet they ask me to write my name EXACTLY as it appears on my passport. well guess what, I cannot do it. and cannot write by hand since it's a document that must be validated, cannot add things just like that.
Sorry for so many questions, each day I find more and more questions, hopefully I won't get crazy before finishing the application. God help us all
and thanks for reading! nobody in real life doesnt get what takes me so long to complete few papers... yeah sure.
It has to be a notarized one, translated in french or english. She has to get her medical done. The adress in chisinau is ciuflea 36/1. She has to go there and make an appointment. She has to get a police certificate (it has to be translated too). Meanwhyle u should fill the application forms that u can find on cic website )Obi2 said:Thanks Svetlana.
Another question I had (for anyone):
So when I submit the spousal sponsorship package here in Canada, I noticed that my wife will need to provide her birth certificate. Does that have to be the original birth certificate or can it be a notarized photocopy?
If we are going to start this process for spousal sponsorship what are the steps we should take first? Should she get her medical done?
