Dear all
i received an email from the embassy today asking for the sponsor `s questionnaire form we already sent it before why they request it again?also they said that Please provide the above by latest March 16, 2014. If nothing has been received from your end by this date, we shall proceed to the final assessment of your case based on the information/documents already on file. As the required documents are directly related to the final assessment to be made on this application, failure to provide it within the deadline above could lead to its refusal.
what is that mean?i didn't pay the right of permanent yet and they didn't ask to pay it.and in this form there is a question about proofs of intention of the sponsor to return Canada shall i submit the same proofs again or more?actually we don't have another proofs we sent all we have we sent a letter from his sister showing that she knows our intention to move should we submit a photocopy from this letter or ask her to provide another one?also a reactivated royal bank account and some job searching from internet..... please help me
thanks in advance
Hi Betina
I want your opinion in my case do you think that they want tis form because of the proofs of intention of the sponsor to return ?in the last form we sent we left the question of the date of the sponsor return to canada blank and explain why in an attachement as we want to return together what did you put in this ques?shuld we put in the form by hand refer to attachement or write any future date?another ques should i resend all proofs i already sent again or put new proofs and how can i send all of tgat by email?
Iam waiting for your reply
Thanks

Hi remonda.

If they ask for a specific form, you should send it to them again, especially if you say you left out the date the sponsor intends on returning to Canada. We have put in Jan 1, 2014, explaining in an attached letter that it is only an estimate and my husband wants to stay with me until the processing is complete.

I would suggest attaching copies of everything you've attached to the form when you have submitted it and writing an explanatory letter stating that they are only photocopies because you have already submitted them.

If you have new proofs, attach them also. Even new bank statements on his accounts would count. Or new browser history. And I would definitely attach letters from your and your husband's workplaces, stating there are no contractual reasons that will keep you from going to Canada as soon as your visa is issued. When I've submitted these kind of letters in, I didn't notarized them. Just printed them out, had the sender sign them in blue ink and that was all.

And don't worry about that "please provide .... failure to provide..." at the end of their request. That's just the standard wording.

Hey, where do you send the proof that you payed that last fee?
Everything regarding the payment of the fees must be sent in original to Mississauga.
When we paid my RPRF, we also sent a copy to the VO, through the Case Specific Enquiry app. From what I know, it takes 2-3 weeks between the date CIC-Miss gets the receipt, until it confirms it to the VO. I have no idea why :)

I have one question for your guys. My wife did police check in Moldova (sometime in july), our application was submited on August. On the police document it says that it will expire in 3 month. On E-cas i only see that they recieved our applications and recieved medical examination. Does it mean that my wife has to go through police check again??. Thanks everyone :)
It's not likely that they will ask for another one. No matter what is the validity of the document in the country of origin, CIC needs it to get to Mississauga less than 3 months after it's issuance.

If your wife's PCC was issued in July, and CIC got the application in August or September, that you shouldn't worry about it :)

Hi Svetlana.

80% off all Family Class PR applications are processed in Bucharest in less than 14 months.

From what I understand, the VO will ask for an ARC if needed.

When she applies for a visit visa she would show no ties to me. She would apply independently. Same with student visa if the visit visa gets rejected.

Yeah, I have to bear the expenses of her studies if she comes here, but thats a small price to pay for us to be together.
I just feel a Canadian marriage certificate would carry more weight. Also after she studies here she would qualify for a 1 year work permit. So effectively we can wait out the PR inland process together in Canada
If she applies for a visitor visa (TRV) without an invitation it is almost sure it will get rejected. If she has a good travel history, especially to Canada or the US, they will not mind if you, the boyfriend, invite her to Canada if you can show means of accommodating her and supporting her.

Either way, they will be most likely to give her a visa if she asks for a 1 entry visa for a short period AND she has a return plane ticket. Otherwise, with her not having strong ties to Romania (children that stay in Romania while she is visiting in Canada, a good job that she can prove she needs to return to, properties that she needs to tend to or close elderly/ill family that depends on her support) there are really really slim chances for her to get a TRV.

Oh, and there is no "weight" difference between a Canadian and a Romanian marriage certificate. Absolutely none :)

Thanks Betina. She has absolutely no travel history outside Europe, but all over Europe, yes, she does. Won't it be better if she corresponds with some universities in Canada and have them 'ask' her to come visit the university? I can also transfer money to her bank account when I visit her in March. That would add some value right?

My concern with inviting her is because that would show her ties to Canada, maybe her visitor visa would get approved but we may face problems later when she applies for a student visa, won't it?

ghatot201 not sure if it's a good idea to transfer a lot of money to her bank account for this, one of the requested documents for the TRV is a transaction history of her bank account .. i think for the last 3 months? they will get suspicious if they see large sums of money transferred like that. they want to see that she can sustain herself.

as Betina said, you need to send an invitation letter.. maybe you can state that you are just "'friends"? not sure how reliable that would be. same with universities "inviting" her to Canada, again that doesn't seem a good story in my opinion.. more experienced forum people correct me, but i think that for a student visa it will be also difficult because she needs to show ties to Romania and if she doesn't have enough, it may be rejected.

from my point of view, your best solution would be to marry her in Romania (as Betina said, the marriage certificate has the same weight whether if it's canadian or not), go back to Canada and submit the application and at one point come back and wait with her in Romania until her PR is being approved. maybe others know more about it, i'm also curious to know.

CutiePie92, I was thinking of transferring around 4000CAD into her account which she can deposit in March.. and apply for TRV in June/July. That would fulfil the 3 month obligation for bank records.
The problem is we have not lived together for 3 years now, last in England, way back in 2010. So both of us dont want to rush into a marriage during my short 1 week visit to Romania. My intent is to keep her in Canada while she files for her outland spousal sponsorship (we would get married by then). Thats why the study route as she would get a post grad work permit after completion of studies. So in effect she would be here for 2 years (1 year study+1 year WP) and by the end of the 2 years hopefully she would have a PR.

Thats why I don't want to jeopardise her chances of getting a student visa (by showing ties to me).

yeah i understand... well then probably that's the best way for you, just don't drop 4000 CAD all of a sudden in her account :p and about the 3 month history thing, i remember that but i`m not 100% sure. but yeah 4000 CAD seems a good sum.

by the way if her TRV gets rejected (i hope not!), when you apply for a student visa, be prepared to have proof of larger deposits in her bank account.. there was a thread about it around here, someone mentioned a sum around 25-30K $. i guess it's understandable given the fact that international student taxes are absolutely preposterous... ???

Thanks CutiePie92, you are right about the 3 month history thing. I remember reading about it somewhere too.

So you suggest she applies for TRV without an invitation letter from me? When she comes as a student I would pay her tuition fees so money is not a problem at all. Its only about staying together.
