Looks like my visa officer is catching up with some work this weekend. Yesterday, my status on E-cas was "In process". Today it changed into "Decision made"

Hello everyone!! I would like to ask some questions to those who applied for family sponsorship in 2013. I live in Canada and sponsoring my wife from Moldova. We sent our documents on July 27 and in August documents were sent to Bucharest. It's been almost 7 month now since we submited our documents, but we still have no answer about our file being in process. When will the status be change to in process? On CIC website the processing time for Bucharest is 14 month. Did anyone recieved visa before that time frame. Please share your experience. Thank you very much guys

It depends on the date your med extension expires. My med extension was granted in Feb. 4, for 12 months. So my visa will expire on Feb 4, 2015.

Alexandr - My processing took less than 9 months. Ask for your GCMS notes and see what's happening with your file. If you didn't pay your RPRF until now, do it. It's the first thing they are looking for when the file is transferred to the VO.
