how long is the process time for restoration of status?my permit expired on April 2 ( i overlooked), applied for a restoration on april 4.thank you

Can be anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. You have to just wait.

I assume you stopped working on April 2?

On what basis are you asking for restoration, btw? Are you certain you're going to get it?

to extend my stay. i have a (new) lmia but i wasnt familiar with the online application.only figured need to apply before the old one expires.

Lyla can I ask how you applied for worker restoration? I am in the exact same position, new LMIA just got approved today but can’t figure out how to apply for restoration! Did you do yours online or via mail?

i applied mine online..you have to pay additional 200$ for the restoration.it took 3 months
