Not all is lost with a CRS of 444. I think there are people with scores lower than that and still hopeful. I am no specialist but think the draws are unpredictable. In 2017, they touched the lowest ever of 413. I agree the cut-off hasn't been around 430s consistently but it did stoop to 439 as recently as December 2018. So you can hang in there with some patience .

However, if money is not a thing and you want to get this done and out of your way ASAP, go for an EOR or a retake. I wouldn't have recommended you the same if you were appearing from an Asian country but that's my opinion. Good luck.
I agree. The score should decrease. 444 should be fine, just stay tune now.

Believe me, I wouldn't want to spend just one more minute in an IELTS exam. Even the people working in the test center recognize me. I am a local in that establishment :)

I don't have any other method to boost up the score except a valid job offer which is nearly impossible to get if you don't have a work permit. Nobody wants to provide a sponsorship.

Maybe I should travel to Canada and take the IELTS exam there. It might make a difference.
Well not sure where you re now, but maybe not a good idea to take exams in Canada. Honestly the result may be very random somehow. I have been in US for 5 years for a degree, coming to Canada and working for 1 year. I got 5.5 in speaking which totally dragged me lose my confidence in English :). Although I admitted that I didnt spend much time for studying before the test. But I still expected of 6.0 not 5.5. Shared my experience so you can have some ideas. I advise you take a rest. Maybe you can try other BC or IDP in your country, but dont have to travel to other countries for this.

Computer Based Exam

30/03/2019 - First attempt.

L - 8
R - 7.5
S - 7.5
W - 6.5
Average - 7.5

I'm pretty sure my writing was above average. I nailed the essay and I'm sure I deserve more than 6.5. In-fact, I did writing better than the other 3 modules. I'm going to apply for re-enquiry tomorrow. I'll update after I get the results. I'm furious about how they evaluate. I may not be Shakespeare, but I can use the language decent enough. I'm looking at OET in case re-eval doesn't work out. This so called 'standard test' is a joke.

It is a joke. I had a 9 in the rest of the sections and a 6.5 in the writing before my EOR, and I write for a living. Submit it and hope for the best.

I'm on the same boat, but i applied for revaluation only for writing
If you are confident about your performance and willing to lose some money, you should simply go for it.

Do you know how long it may take to get it EoR from the date they receive the application, only for writing?
