I think it has something to do with yhe passports that are pending before us. You can make a case on myimmtracker under the topic ‘passport processing time’. In my knowledge, it generally takes 13-15 days to get it stamped.

I sent my passport from Bangalore on 29th April and it reached New Delhi IRCC office on 1st of May. Haven't heard anything ever since. Did you get any updates?

Don’t worry about it. I’d paid RPRF upfront while submitting files on 3rd Nov and so I got the golden email soon as it hit the IP2. It’s just a matter of few days or maybe a week for you. Just hold your horses!

You will get your PPR tomorrow or Monday Max. I’m Nov 3rd too. IP1 to IP2 on 25th April without any email (just ghost update) and PPR on 26th before I woke up.

Does PPR really mean a guaranteed PR? I would like to book my tickets as flight rates are increasing everyday and as usual seats are getting filled up for Toronto from Bangalore. Should I go ahead and book it? I just need advice from people who are probably on the same boat as me. Also, I...

So does PPR really mean PR? I’ve waited for this PPR so long that it all seems too good to be true.

The least that will happen to your file by raising a CSE is that they’ll know your file is pending. A heads up to them is better than the file that is untouched. Isn’t it?

Yeah that’s exactly what happened to me as well. First IP2 and then PPR within 24 hours. When did you send your passport? Any update?

I agree on that. But you can keep badgering them with loads of CSEs until they pick up your file. My point is... don’t lose hope. When I went to submit my passport I met someone who crossed a few weeks over 6 months mark. Just don’t lose hope my friend !!

You can question them. You can raise a CSE and ask for updates.

I have received PPR on 26th April and it still shows ‘processing background’ and ‘reviewing eligibility’. I think they’re focusing on sending out PPRS rather than updating individual accounts. Just hold your horses guys.. even if it crosses 180 days, your waiting period will be much less than...
