I am also based form Qatar and did IELTS on June 30 (British Council) . Today got the results (LRWS is 8.5 9 6.5 7) and today itself gave for EOR.. I hope to get W7 to improve my EE profile.
I had a felling that I did well for writing, but the score is only 6.5.
Any suggestions...

And any one had experience in EOR from Qatar???

Anybody booked the test today?

I am trying to book the test through IDP website since morning but it is not going ahead of Personal Details page. The loading circle keeps going round and round and nothing happens.

I planning to go in on Saturday to submit my EOR. I also took the exam on the 30th in Qatar. My scores were LRWS: 8 9 6.5 9.
I only need a 7.0 on my writing for my CRS to shoot up from a 417 to a 471. Really annoyed that the score was so low for writing, and that a 0.5 makes such a huge difference on the website. Did they tell you how long the EOR process would take when you submitted the EOR?

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Is it correct that 2 bands difference in one test, test scores got a second review ?

This is a crucial point for me as I scored in L 9 and W 6.5 and I am a bit hesitant getting this 0.5 band if the rule above is applied.

Thanks

Just Harv my result from 30June test.
L/R/W/S 8.5/9/7/8
Thinking of re-mark for writing, need the 0.5 to get to 441.. still debating..
But at the same time, I have enrolled for another test on 30 July

Hey Guys, I would like to raise your hopes:

I took the exam on 2nd June (BC). My original speaking score was 6.5
I was unsatisfied with the Speaking results. Applied for Enquiry on Results for speaking section on 20 June.
Today, I received my new speaking score: 8

Best of luck!

Been working hard to hit the magic number (8,7,7,7) and took ielts 3 times in 3 months.

First attempt:

L - 7
R - 7
W - 7
S - 7

Second attempt:

L - 8.5
R - 6.5
W - 7
S - 7.5

This attempt:

L - 8
R - 7
W - 6.5
S - 8

I became very disappointed when I saw the third attempt result. I want to apply for revaluation of writing section because it’s impossible that I scored below 7 in writing. But I am concerned about how long it will take for reval. Clearly the gap between any 2 sections is not more than 2 bands so it hasn’t been rechecked and there are high chances of a 0.5 increment. I wrote this to find someone who could tell me ‘Been there, done it, fcuk it and go get that 0.5 increased’

A 9 in reading and 7 in writing means 2 examiners have looked into my writing already, am I right? No point in appealing?
