I have applied for the extension of Temporary resident visitor status for my In-laws, sent a couple of days back, reached the cic on 2nd April. There visitor status expires on 11th May. they have multiple entry visitor visa for 10y. (paper application)

My question is for implied status means will they receive any email or letter from cic saying that they are on implied status till the decision comes.

what is the next step from our side.

please help appreciate response in this regard

thanks

No - they won't received an implied status letter or email from CIC. CIC does not confirm implied status.

The next step is just to wait until CIC makes a decision on the extension.

Chances vary depending on each case. Impossible to say.
