Hi,
You will get an AOR (by an email) with your file number in about two months, saying that your appication was received and your file has been transfered to your local CHC and so on.

AOR- Acknowledgment of receipt is what will be sent in about two moths with a file number. you will see a first and second AOR from the applicants who got it. Please look into their application status.
Just for your references, here is what CIO's explanation
1.
Application Received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)
We have received your application. After checking for completeness, a file has been created and the information from the application form was entered.
2. Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) - Eligibility Review Complete
The review at the CIO-Sydney has been completed. A letter with additional information has been mailed.
