Comparing yourself to other claimants is the worst thing you could to yourself and I learned that the hard way. I waited 10 months for my eligibility interview and to get a work permit while my friend went through the whole process in just 11 months. I wish i did not know that, honestly. My advice for you would be: if you have a work permit, focus on your job, go to the gym if you haven't been going, find a local organization doing something you are interested in and join them as volunteer, I'd even come to this forum less often because even if it's a great resource, it can be frustrating at time especially when you are waiting for long period of times. Take care of yourself is the only thing you can do while waiting because you don't have control over how long this gonna take. I hope all go well for you and you will get a hearing date soon.
