Thank you for your kind words, I agree with you and i wish could do that, but.... You msy understand some time you get tired and tenssed with situations, unfortunately i don't have job yet and i have family here with me, so it is very quiet possible to be depressive and fear of future. As i told I don't have BOC nor access to IRB portal and nothing is changing in my ircc portal from August 2024 (background check completed). what will happen next. Do IRB will contact me or my lawyer (appointed by my consultant). Is there any average time for hearing these days in Edmonton Alberta. Thank you so much again

Brother do you think i should contact IRB to inquire the status or not?
I mean bypassing my consultant and lawyer?
Can a lawyer request IRB for early hearings?

I think you can call IRB once but they don't like it when you call often. In Edmonton, you should normally get a hearing within 15 month in other people's experience from the time you were referred. However, things change and I would be patient. It took me 8 months to get brown paper...

Airport Asylum July 2023,
WP in September.
Referral Feb 2024.
Confirmation of referral April.
Case accepted without hearing December 2024.

Edit on February 3rd, 2025.
We received our work permits and IDs by the end of Oct 2023. We were also able to apply for our SIN right after on the same day.

Received a letter confirming hearing date in Jan 2025. It scheduled in mid Feb.

Hoping it goes well.

Hi! This letter has nothing to do with the hearing date. This is just a process. I know people got their hearing date in 1.5 years after receiving this letter.

There is really no point. You are not even close to average wait time for hearings these days. As you can see from others posting many are waiting 2 years. I would take the advice and focus on finding employment and keeping yourself busy because this can be a very long process and that is if your origin claim is actually accepted.

what kind of letter is this,what this letter means and when we can expect this letter,do we get this letter in ircc portal or in IRB portal or on our mailing address

If you have kids then this letteŕ is about there representation during hearing i received this letter after 1 year of submission of my case now wating for hearing date
